1) How do people benefit form having your prints in their homes?

I have heard from many people at my exhibitions that these pictures reach them on a level they cannot explain so they like having the prints around. One man told me that he walked into a gallery where I had a solo show and was stopped dead in his tracks by the “healing energy” as he called it. He was at the time involved in a personal crisis and this was a significant thing for him.

2) What inspires you to do this art?

I think it is a combination of the call of a muse from the ancient past plus the thrill of making the designs work, figuring out the compositions and using Celtic designs to say something, which inspires me to keep working in this style. It sometimes takes me several months or even years to sort out a theme before I start drawing it, then it takes months to get the composition to come together.

3) Can you share stories of people who have benefitted from having your art in their home?

I’m a cancer survivor myself and my oncologist told me of visiting the home of one of his friends who had one of my prints on the wall. He mentioned that he knew me and the friend was really keen to meet me because she had been so moved by the picture which had helped her through personal tragedy. Since then we have been introduced and have formed a special bond.

4) Do you hear and feel the spirit guides as well as see them and how do you put this into the paint

I think it would be impossible for me to do this type of painting on my own without some spiritual support. The inspirations, especially for the themes which run through my work and the elements of composition, come from a place which is far distant from my daily life. Visits to ancient monastic and megalithic sites in Ireland and Scotland several times have given me a sense of connection with the artists who created the models.

5) What are the sizes of the prints?

They range from 11x14 inches to 22x22 inches. I will be adding some Giclee prints soon which will be available in larger sizes.

6) It is said that the vibrational state a channel is in when channeling (and in your case painting) goes into the channeling/painting with healing effects on the viewer. Do your paintings do this in your experience?

Well, being a musician as well as a painter, I think there is always the influence of music when I am working which contributes to the rhythm and harmony of my work. Though I would like to think it is healing, some of my work is restless and complex, which also must reflect the state I am sometimes in when working.

7) How many different prints are for sale?

There are 12 prints available but I will be adding two new ones soon. I also hope to make some of the others available in Giclee prints which will allow for more variable.
